Terms of Service
Who we are and what these terms cover
These Terms of Service are issued by EMS Echelon Medical Solutions FZCO (“Echelon”, “we”, “us”), IFZA Business Park, Dubai Digital Park (DDP), Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Contact: operations@echelonmedicalsolutions.com.
They govern your use of this website and every purchase made through it: training course bookings, medical equipment and supplies orders, and downloadable digital content. By placing a booking or order you confirm that you have read and accept these terms. If you are purchasing on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
Bookings and payment
Prices are shown in UAE dirhams (AED) unless stated otherwise and include any applicable taxes shown at checkout. Payment is taken at the time of booking or order through Stripe, our payment processor; we never see or store your full card details. Your booking or order is confirmed only when payment succeeds and you receive our confirmation email.
Course places are limited and allocated in order of completed payment. If a session is oversubscribed or a price or listing was published in error, we may cancel the affected booking and refund it in full.
Cancelling or moving a course booking
To cancel or reschedule, email operations@echelonmedicalsolutions.com from the address used at booking.
Seven days or more before the course start: your choice of a full refund or a free transfer to a later date of the same course.
Less than seven days before the course start: the fee is not refundable, but you may transfer once to a later date free of charge, or convert the fee into a credit valid for twelve months. Documented medical or family emergencies are considered case by case.
Not attending without notice forfeits the fee. You may send a colleague in your place at no charge if you tell us at least 24 hours before the course starts and they meet any stated prerequisites.
If we cancel or reschedule
We may need to cancel or move a session – for example where minimum numbers are not reached, an instructor is unavailable, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control intervene. If we do, you choose between a full refund, a free transfer to the next available date, or a twelve-month credit. We recommend booking flexible travel; we are not responsible for travel or accommodation costs connected to a cancelled or rescheduled session.
Equipment orders and returns
You may cancel an equipment order for a full refund at any time before it is dispatched. Once delivered, unused items in their original, unopened packaging may be returned within seven days of delivery for a refund; return shipping is at your cost unless the return results from our error.
For hygiene and safety, sterile and single-use medical items cannot be returned once their packaging has been opened or the seal broken, unless they are defective.
If an item arrives defective, damaged or materially different from its description, tell us within seven days of delivery and we will repair it, replace it or refund it in full, in line with UAE consumer protection law.
Digital content and downloads
Digital content (such as downloadable course materials, manuals and study guides) is licensed to you personally: a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for your own use. You may not share, resell, redistribute or republish it.
By purchasing digital content you consent to it being supplied immediately. Once you have started downloading or accessing it, the purchase is non-refundable – except where the content is defective, materially not as described, or cannot be accessed because of a fault on our side, in which case we will replace it or refund it in full.
If you have not downloaded or accessed the content at all, contact us within seven days of purchase and we will refund it.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe and are initiated within fourteen days of approval. Banks and card issuers control how quickly the money then appears in your account. Refunds are not paid in cash or to a different card or account.
Certificates and assessment
Certificates are issued by the relevant awarding or accrediting body and depend on meeting that body's attendance and assessment requirements. Payment secures your place on a course; it does not guarantee certification. Where an assessment is not passed, any reassessment may carry an additional fee set by the awarding body. Certificates are personal to the named learner.
Training is not medical advice
Our courses and materials are education and training. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, or for contacting the emergency services. Always apply what you learn within your own scope of practice, qualifications and the regulations that apply where you work.
Intellectual property and acceptable use
The content of this website, our course materials and our digital downloads belong to Echelon or our licensors. You may not copy, record or redistribute training sessions or materials without our written consent. You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access systems or data you are not authorised to use.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under UAE law. Subject to that, our total liability arising from any booking, order or use of this website is limited to the amount you paid us for the service or goods concerned, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost opportunities.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the laws of the Emirate of Dubai, and the onshore courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are unhappy with anything, contact us first – most issues are resolved directly. UAE consumers may also raise complaints through the Ministry of Economy's consumer protection channels.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the current version is always available at this address and applies from the moment it is published. Changes do not retroactively alter the terms that applied to a booking or order you had already placed. Last updated: August 2026.
